Around Seattle: Mercer Island

I love visiting islands! I don't know why but there is something about islands that always attracts me - perhaps because I come from an island nation! Anyway, Mercer Island was great because it is so easily accessed by road. I went right down to the tip and saw Seattle city on the other side. I didn't really stop other than to take pictures, so I'm not sure what is special to the island, but it had a nice vibe to drive through.
